Job Title: Data Modeller

Location: Pune & Bangalore

Experience: 7 – 15 Years

Work Mode: Hybrid (3 Days Onsite)

Shift Timing: EMEA Shift (12:30 PM – 9:30 PM IST)


Role Overview


We are looking for an experienced Data Modeller with strong expertise in enterprise-scale data modelling , particularly within the wealth management and banking domain . The role involves designing and maintaining logical and physical data models, ensuring high data quality, consistency, and alignment with business requirements.


Key Responsibilities


• Design and develop Logical and Physical Data Models for enterprise-level banking and wealth management systems

• Build and maintain data models for wealth domain entities such as Client, Portfolio, Product, and Transactions

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into data structures

• Define and enforce data standards, naming conventions, and metadata management practices

• Ensure consistency and reusability through canonical data models

• Work closely with data engineering teams to support data integration and performance optimisation

• Maintain data lineage, data dictionaries, and documentation for governance purposes

• Support data governance initiatives and tools implementation


Mandatory Skills


• Strong experience in Logical & Physical Data Modelling (enterprise-grade systems)

• Hands-on experience in wealth management data modelling

• Proficiency in data modelling tools such as:

• ERwin

• ER Studio

• PowerDesigner

• Strong understanding of data standards, metadata management, and naming conventions


Secondary / Good-to-Have Skills


• Knowledge of SQL and database performance optimisation

• Exposure to modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Cloud environments)

• Experience with data governance and lineage tools (e.g., Collibra)

• Understanding of core banking platforms (e.g., Avaloq or similar systems)

• Familiarity with wealth management domain data structures and processes
