Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
To be able to provide swift and defect free documentation to customers, ensure each document meets customer requirements mentioned in SOP. All documents to be reverted in time with due diligence to prevent claims , avoid penalties, legal actions for ZIM Integrated Shipping
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY –include but are not limited to the following
- Deliver Superior Customer Experience
• Ensure each document is handled within the agreed timeline
• Ensure each document is handled with care with zero defects and achieves the require quality level
• Meet vessel cut off's and other deadlines
• Understand the processes by country/Account and deliver expectations
• To meet and exceed Productivity targets.
• Correspondence with customers for any queries, clarifications and amendments
• Providing accurate, detailed and complete information "the first time and every time"
• Communicate with internal and external customers constructively and in the most professional
manner, thereby instilling confidence in the customers
• To be able to identify gaps and work with team leader to improve processes and enable efficiency
gains Meets/Exceed Customer Satisfaction Survey Targets
• Flexible to work in shifts
- New Migrations/Organization Changes
- Work closely with Team Leaders to ensure process migrations/ organization changes are properly executed
- Ensure successful implementation of migrations / changes as per plan / guidelines/frameworks provided
- degree /Diploma in Exports/Imports Management
- Meet/Exceed new migration targets/expectations
- Continuous improvement and low cost provider
- Identify areas for improvement in service delivery ( data quality / productivity / customer requirements)
- Proactive analysis of operational steps to identify waste with supporting data and benefits
- Implements signed off changes assisting in actual benefits
- Uphold Company Image
- Ensure Company vision, values & ethics are upheld within team at all times through professional behavior / by being a role model for the team
- Knowledge and Qualification
Technical Skills
- Graduate in any field. Preferred Diploma or degree in Foreign trade /Imports Export mgmt
- Compute proficient, with Typing speed of at least 30 WPM & 100% accuracy
- 2 years of experience in Shipping , Logistics ,freight forwarding documentation
- MS Office Proficiency

- Customer Service orientation and empathic listening.

- Strong Interpersonal skills
- Ability to work diligently under pressure
