Job Description

ROLE

DEFINATION Responsible for accurate cost estimation, billing management, timely bill certification, and ensuring cost control and financial coordination across project, procurement, and site teams. RESPONSIBILITY

DELIVERABLE Quantity Take-offs & BOQ Preparation Cost Estimation & Budget Forecasting Rate Analysis & Database Management Tendering, Quotation Comparison & Negotiation Support Contract & Vendor Coordination Billing Verification & Cost Control Documentation, Reporting & Continuous Process Improvement TASKS &

ACTIVITIES Quantity Take-offs & BOQ Preparation Study drawings and identify scope, gaps, and discrepancies Prepare accurate quantity take-offs for all trades Develop clear, structured BOQs as per standard format Support design team with cost inputs and alternatives Cost Estimation & Budgeting Prepare detailed project budgets with all cost components Update estimates based on design/site changes Track "Budget vs Actual" and report variances Support profitability and cost optimization Rate Analysis & Database Perform rate analysis including materials, labor, and overheads Maintain and update rate database and vendor data Track market rates and identify cost-effective alternatives Tendering & Negotiation Prepare tender documents and define scope clearly Compare vendor quotations and identify gaps Support negotiations with data and cost benchmarks Contract & Vendor Management Prepare work orders aligned with BOQs and drawings Manage variations and change orders Coordinate with vendors and procurement teams Billing & Cost Control Verify contractor/vendor bills based on measurements Monitor cost vs actuals and prepare reports Manage change orders and cash flow planning Documentation & Reporting Maintain all project records and documentation Submit regular reports and highlight risks Improve processes and support design coordination Tips: Provide a summary of the role, what success in the position looks like, and how this role fits into the organization overall.


Requirements: Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering / Interior Design / Quantity Surveying 1-3 years of BOQ experience (interiors preferred) Knowledge of materials, finishes, and construction Skilled in AutoCAD and Excel Good analytical and coordination skills Detail-oriented and organized
