Essential Job Functions:
- Understand the problem statement and provide solution, technical guidelines and support to ANZ Technology and Business Domains.
- Developing detailed implementation plans to meet customer outcomes.
- Provide regular updates on EPICs or tasks to maintain an hygienic dashboard.
- Work at an intermediate level across programme and platform initiatives.
- Collaborate with architects, design, delivery, and operations engineers.
- Explore and exploit new technologies through hands-on engineering and infrastructure development.
- Facilitate rapid technical decision making.
- Provide 24/7 rotational on-call support.
Qualifications:
- Good understanding of networking concepts and supporting knowledge.
- Minimum relevant experience of 5+ years in a customer-facing environment.
- Minimum 12 months of experience in a similar role or consulting role.
- Proven experience in Cisco SD-WAN technology.
- Experience in Cisco networking infrastructure including VxLAN EVPN, MPLS, LAN, and WAN.
- Experience with Radware Server Load Balancing and Reverse Proxy infrastructure.
- Network security experience including Palo Alto and Checkpoint firewalls.
- Experience with WAN Optimization devices such as Riverbed Steelhead.
- Routing technologies including EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP.
- Traffic management technologies such as balancing and prioritisation.
- Data Centre and Internet Gateway network solution design.
- Enterprise network solution design and enterprise-scale network management systems.
- Experience with service desk, operational management tools, and ITIL.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- CCNA and CCNP certifications are an added advantage.
- Must have skills: Palo Alto or Checkpoint firewalls, Cisco Routing and Switching, Networking concepts, Load balancing – Radware, Citrix or F5, and troubleshooting skills.
