We are seeking a Senior Lead Analyst to support accounting and financial operations related processes, reconciliations for insurance products and services provided by Principal Financial Group. This role requires strong accounting knowledge, analytical capability, and a process improvement mindset to deliver accurate reporting, resolve issues, and drive operational efficiency.
Expected to work in 2nd shift (01.30 pm to 10.30 pm IST)
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to research issues thoroughly to identify root causes.
- Apply planning, problem-solving, and analytical skills to manage individual responsibilities and support team objectives.
- Possess a strong understanding of fundamental accounting concepts and the ability to assess their impact on supported processes.
- Use advanced analytical and quantitative skills to prepare, finalize, and deliver reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Develop a strong understanding of the company’s business and products and apply that knowledge effectively in accounting activities.
- Understand end-to-end processes beyond accounting impacts and use data-driven analysis to diagnose issues and recommend solutions.
- Learn and use accounting and business applications effectively to analyze transactions and extract relevant data.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date process documentation in line with business and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrate team management and supervisory and leadership skills to guide work delivery and support team development.
- Apply project management skills to plan, coordinate, and execute assignments effectively.
Qualifications
- Person with commerce, accounting, finance background/educational qulification; commerce graduates/post-graduates/MBAs (Finance)/CAs/ can apply.
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.
