Job Title and Location

Executive Assistant to the SVP, India

Location: Gurugram, India (Payoneer India GCC)

About the Role

As our global fintech footprint expands, the Payoneer India Global Capability Centre (GCC) serves as a critical engine for our future growth, having recently crossed our foundational milestone of 50 team members. We are seeking a highly strategic and proactive Executive Assistant to partner directly with the SVP and India Site Head. In this high-impact role, you will act as a vital force multiplier, optimizing executive bandwidth, streamlining daily site operations, and ensuring seamless cross-functional alignment as we scale our Gurugram operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Command the Executive Calendar: Ruthlessly prioritize the SVP's time against key strategic objectives, site-wide initiatives, and shifting global priorities, ensuring optimal daily productivity.
  • Design Automated Workflows: Build and implement automated processes to streamline approvals, expense reporting, and operational tracking, moving away from manual data entry.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner closely with the Chief of Staff and global functional leaders to align daily site execution with long-term strategic roadmaps, ensuring swift and accurate information flow.
  • Elevate Executive Communications: Draft, review, and refine high-impact executive communications, all-hands presentations, leadership briefs, and site-wide announcements.
  • Orchestrate Global Travel: Manage complex, multi-leg international and domestic travel itineraries, anticipating logistical hurdles, securing visas, and preparing comprehensive briefing materials.
  • Manage Leadership Cadence: Drive the operational rhythm of the India leadership team by building targeted agendas, capturing actionable insights, and relentlessly tracking deliverables to completion.
  • Coordinate High-Profile Visits: Direct end-to-end logistics for visiting global executives, managing facility readiness, localized event programming, and cross-team scheduling.
  • Safeguard Confidentiality: Manage highly sensitive organizational, financial, and personnel information with absolute discretion, functioning as a trusted vault for site leadership.
  • Champion Site Culture: Lead internal culture-building initiatives, leadership offsites, and team-building events to maintain high employee engagement as the GCC scales.
  • Triage and Resolve: Act as the first line of defense for incoming requests and communications, resolving operational bottlenecks independently before they escalate to the SVP.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • 6+ years of total professional experience, with at least 3 years explicitly supporting a senior executive (VP or C-suite) in a fast-paced, matrixed corporate environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating the ability to distill complex, global communications into clear, actionable executive summaries.
  • Advanced proficiency in enterprise productivity suites (Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Demonstrated proactive problem-solving abilities; a track record of anticipating executive needs and neutralizing roadblocks before they occur.
  • High emotional intelligence, resilience, and the interpersonal agility to build strong, high-trust relationships across diverse global teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on proficiency with low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, Microsoft Lists) to independently build and deploy operational efficiencies.
  • Prior experience supporting leadership during the rapid scaling of a Global Capability Centre (GCC) or a high-growth technology startup.
  • Industry experience within a global fintech, financial services, or payments organization is preferable.
  • Proven track record of supporting an executive through significant organizational transformation and physical site establishment.

What Success Looks Like in 90 Days

  • Assume full, autonomous control of the SVP's calendar and inbox, successfully reclaiming at least 20% of their weekly bandwidth for deep strategic focus.
  • Establish and launch a centralized, automated tracking system for leadership action items and site-wide operational deliverables.
  • Build high-trust relationships with key global stakeholders and local teams, establishing yourself as the recognized and highly reliable gateway to the India Site Head.
  • Seamlessly execute end-to-end logistics for at least one major site event or global executive visit, delivering a flawless experience without operational escalations.
