DGM / GM - Operational Excellence - Bidar

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Develop Operational Excellence Maturity model and assessment to gauge the organization maturity for the manufacturing site.
2. Drive the implementation of the identified actions from strategic initiatives through governance frameworks
3. Implementing the transformation program and Lean Six Sigma processes to significantly improve:

• Productivity of the people
• Quality of the current manufacturing processes at the site
• Cost of goods
• Delivery performance of sites
• Personnel safety at the site
• Compliance to business processes
• Overall EBIDTA Improvement

1. Facilitate Operational excellence FIP’s (Process improvement, cost leadership etc.) so that the same are completed in time and benefits are achieved by the organization.
2. Drive Operational excellence reward and recognition program in line with the Operational excellence program maturity.
3. Drive bottom-up approach i.e. Daily management program across the organization to create sustenance and involving shop floor people in the operational excellence journey.
4. Drive kaizen, VSM, SFTI, OPL (One-point lessons) & other Daily management techniques and ensure maturity achievement year on year
5. Act as a Change agent for driving positive culture change and improving organizational efficiencies using existing processes.
6. Lead, coach, and develop OE Managers & Executives within the department and coach, train and mentor change agents within the business to develop and achieve operational excellence goals and objectives.
7. Develop, maintain and ensure compliance with procedures and metrics that impact quality, safety, process and productivity improvements throughout the company.
8. Develop and maintain appropriate relationships with internal and external customers to accomplish business objectives and achieve outstanding customer service.
9. Establish, measure, and monitor key process KPI metrics for overall

Technical & Functional:

• Six Sigma Black Belt Certification and Lean management Certification. Able to drive Lean Six Sigma/5S concepts at multiple levels independently
• Experience in Value Stream Mapping and other Lean Six Sigma tools
• Knowledge of driving the process simplification efforts
• Strong data analytics and developing the insights effectively
• Understanding about the costing and budgeting process
• Knowledge about API / CDMO industry

Experience: Minimum experience of 15 years in Operational excellence in a manufacturing set up preferably in pharmaceutical industry
