Purchase Executive – Chemical Trading\nJob Summary\nWe are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive for our chemical trading business. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing chemicals, coordinating with suppliers, negotiating prices, managing purchase orders, and ensuring timely procurement and delivery of materials. The role requires strong coordination with sales, logistics, and accounts teams to maintain smooth business operations.\nKey Responsibilities\nSource and procure industrial and specialty chemicals from domestic and international suppliers.\nObtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate commercial terms with vendors.\nPrepare and process purchase orders as per company requirements.\nCoordinate with suppliers for timely dispatch and delivery of materials.\nMaintain relationships with existing vendors and develop new supplier networks.\nTrack inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and sales teams for stock planning.\nFollow up on pending orders, shipment schedules, and documentation.\nVerify purchase invoices and coordinate with accounts for payment processing.\nMaintain records of purchases, pricing, supplier performance, and contracts.\nMonitor market trends, raw material pricing, and supplier developments.\nEnsure compliance with company policies and chemical procurement regulations.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.\n2–5 years of experience in purchase/procurement, preferably in chemical trading or industrial products.\nStrong negotiation and vendor management skills.\nGood communication and coordination abilities.\nProficiency in MS Office and ERP software.\nUnderstanding of chemical products and supply chain processes preferred.\nPreferred Skills\nExperience in handling industrial chemical procurement.\nKnowledge of import/export documentation and logistics coordination.\nAnalytical and cost-comparison skills.\nAbility to work under deadlines and manage multiple suppliers.\nSalary & Benefits - 40,000/- p.m.to 60,000/- p.m
