Lead Software Engineer - C++, Network Protocol, Linux

Description

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer with expertise in C++, network protocols, and Linux to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience, with a strong background in enterprise networking appliances and networking security products, particularly in SSL-VPN, NAC, WAF, or Firewall products. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software for enterprise networking appliances
• Contribute to the design and implementation of networking security products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of networking solutions
• Participate in the testing and validation of networking protocols and security features
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking issues
• Stay updated with the latest developments in networking technologies and security best practices
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software, system, or test engineering
• Proven hands-on experience with enterprise networking appliances and networking security products
• Expertise in C++ and strong familiarity with Linux user space
• Proficient in network programming, including DHCP, TCP/IP, AAA, RADIUS, LDAP, SNMP, .1X, and IPSec
• Experience in enterprise Linux environments
• Solid understanding of network protocols and networking security
• Ability to work on the platform side for enterprise networking appliances
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Fluency in English at a B2+ level
