About the Company\n\nTo generate timely, effective and safe operational flight plans and pre-flight briefings for scheduled and non-scheduled flights throughout the Company’s network in compliance with company policies, procedures and respective CAA regulations. Supports the Company’s operational control and dispatch reliability by efficiently responding to irregular and emergency requirements taking into account safety, efficiency and customer satisfaction.\n\nAbout the Role\n\nIndependently prepare, authorize, and release operational flight plans for assigned flights in compliance with regulatory requirements and company SOPs.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nConduct flight planning including route analysis, weather evaluation, NOTAMs, fuel planning, alternates, MEL/CDL considerations, and performance limitations.\nMonitor flights from dispatch release to arrival, maintaining continuous situational awareness.\nCommunicate proactively with flight crew, OCC, and ground teams on operational developments.\nSupport IROPs resolution within own span of control and escalate as required.\nExecutes flight planning and operational dispatch activities strictly within defined company procedures, systems, and approved authorization frameworks.\nEnsures timely escalation of operational irregularities, disruptions, or safety-related concerns to the Dispatch Manager or designated authority.\nMaintains continuous coordination with OCC teams to ensure alignment of operational decisions with centralized flight control requirements.\nSupports real-time monitoring of flight operations and communicates relevant updates to OCC stakeholders in accordance with established reporting channels.\nEnsures accuracy and consistency of flight planning outputs by strictly following approved regulatory, operational, and company standards.\nAssists OCC functions by ensuring smooth operational continuity during shift transitions through structured handover and documentation processes.\nIdentifies and reports operational inefficiencies, data discrepancies, or system issues through defined escalation and reporting mechanisms.\nEnsures full compliance with OCC governance structure, maintaining adherence to defined roles, responsibilities, and decision-making boundaries.\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelor's degree or diploma in Aviation, Aeronautical Studies, or related field preferred.\nValid Flight Dispatcher License issued or recognized by DGCA or equivalent.\nDemonstrated competency in independent flight planning and IROPs handling.\nIndividual contributor role with full accountability for assigned flights.\nDecisions made independently within regulatory and company frameworks.\nProficient in Flight Planning system, Flight Monitoring system, NOTAM system, weather systems, email, ACARS.\nFluent in English Language.\nAbility to work in a 24/7 shift-based OCC environment.\n\nRequired Skills\n\nWith 3+ years of experience in airline flight dispatch or OCC operations is preferred.\nExposure to time-critical and disruption scenarios.\n\nPay range and compensation package\n\n[Pay range or salary or compensation]\n\nEqual Opportunity Statement\n\n[Include a statement on commitment to diversity and inclusivity.]
