- Governance & Compliance Specialist responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and compliant AWS cloud environments aligned with regulatory and industry frameworks such as NIST and HITRUST.
- This role focuses on establishing cloud governance models, implementing policy-as-code, managing AWS security controls (IAM, SCPs, Config, Security Hub, GuardDuty), enabling continuous compliance monitoring, and supporting audit readiness across multi-account environments.
- The ideal candidate has strong expertise in risk management, cloud security architecture, control mapping, and automation using Terraform or CloudFormation, along with 5+ years of cloud/security experience.
- Required certifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) and AWS Certified Security – Specialty, with preferred certifications such as CISSP, CISM, HITRUST CCSFP, or relevant NIST framework training.
- AM, SCPs, Config, Security Hub, GuardDuty), enabling continuous compliance monitoring, and supporting audit readiness across multi-account environments.
