Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled IVR Asterisk Developer to join our dynamic team in Chennai. As a mid-level position, the role demands maximum 6 years of experience and involves developing innovative solutions in the realm of Interactive Voice Response systems. This is a full-time position offering an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge digital transformation projects.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficient in Asterisk with a deep understanding of its applications and functionalities (Mandatory skill).
  • Hands-on experience in IVR to API Integration to enable seamless data exchange and service execution (Mandatory skill).
  • Expertise in AGI (Asterisk Gateway Interface) scripting and custom application development (Mandatory skill).
  • Strong knowledge of FreePBX for managing phone systems and facilitating communications.
  • Experience with Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) for managing voice, video, and messaging communication sessions.
  • Skilled in IVR Design to create intuitive and efficient user experiences for callers.
  • Expert in configuring and managing Asterisk Dial Plan (extensions.conf) for efficient call routing and management.
  • Proficiency in Call Flow Development, including designing and implementing intuitive call paths.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance IVR applications using Asterisk technologies.
  • Integrate IVR systems with web APIs to facilitate seamless data transactions and service automation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient call flows and dial plans.
  • Customize AGI scripts to support specific business requirements and improve service delivery.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot IVR application issues to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to enhance product quality and team knowledge base.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in IVR and telecommunication technologies to implement innovative solutions.
  • Provide technical support and training to users and stakeholders to maximize system utilization.
