Job Description: -

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases for high availability and performance.
• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, triggers, and functions to support application development.
• Optimize database performance by analysing query execution plans and indexing strategies.
• Perform data analysis and extraction to support business requirements.
• Collaborate with application developers to create database schemas, tables, and indexes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues, including long-running queries and deadlocks.
• Implement data security and backup/recovery strategies to protect critical information.
• Perform database migration, replication, and data synchronization between different environments.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Relevant experience as an SQL Developer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in T-SQL, PL/SQL, and writing complex SQL queries.
• Hands-on experience with RDBMS like SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
• Strong understanding of database design principles and normalization.
• Knowledge of SSIS, SSRS, Azure Synapse or Power BI for data reporting and visualization (optional but preferred).
• Ability to optimize database performance and troubleshoot complex database issues.
• Familiarity with source control systems (e.g., Git, TFS).
