Job Overview

Spandana Hospital is seeking a Mid-Level Nephrologist to join our team in Bengaluru. This position requires a minimum of 4 to 6 years of work experience and can be filled either as a full-time or part-time role. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in hemodialysis, chronic kidney disease management, and acute kidney injury.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in nephrology, demonstrating proficiency and competence in the field.
  • Expertise in hemodialysis with an ability to provide comprehensive care for patients undergoing this process (Mandatory skill).
  • Clinical management of chronic kidney disease with a focus on long-term patient outcomes (Mandatory skill).
  • Skilled in acute kidney injury management to offer effective treatment strategies (Mandatory skill).
  • Strong background in patient care to ensure high-quality healthcare delivery for all individuals.
  • Experience with peritoneal dialysis, including patient education and ongoing assessment of treatment efficacy.
  • Capability in hypertension management and its impact on kidney function, contributing to overall patient health.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a collaborative environment with patients and healthcare team members.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed assessments to diagnose and manage conditions related to kidney health in patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, focusing on both acute and chronic nephrological conditions.
  • Perform and oversee procedures such as hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, ensuring patient safety and treatment efficacy.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care and support clinical outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on kidney health, treatment plans, and preventive measures for kidney disease.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough medical records, documenting patient progress and treatment responses.
