Job Title: Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Technician (Fitter/Mechanical/Electrical)

Annual CTC: 2.98 LPA

Age Limit: 18 40 years

Essential Qualification

• ITI (Fitter/Mechanical/Electrical) + AITT Certificate from a reputed, recognized institute approved by AICTE or UGC.
• Candidates with Part-Time, Correspondence, or Distance Learning qualifications are not eligible.

Experience

• Minimum: 2 years (excluding apprenticeship period)
• Relevant Sector: Mechanical/Electrical maintenance in the manufacturing industry, preferably in steel making.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to perform routine and scheduled maintenance work.
• Conduct inspection, maintenance, testing, and trials of equipment.
• Execute jobs during shutdowns, breakdowns, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Supervise contract jobs and ensure job certification through memo approval.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams operations, mechanical, electrical, utilities, FM, and contractors.
• Implement positive isolation and issue work permits for daily activities.
• Inspect incoming spare parts and store them in designated areas.
• Ensure SAP-PM compliance for measuring points, notifications, and maintenance orders.
• Perform 1S and 2S activities for workplace organization.
• Conduct safety observations and participate in JCC (Job Control Committee) for eliminating unsafe acts/conditions.
• Prepare and revise SOPs based on JCC recommendations and operational feedback.
