About the Role
We are looking for skilled and compassionate Phlebotomists to join our healthcare team across various locations in Odisha. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood and specimen samples from patients for laboratory testing, ensuring high standards of hygiene, safety, and patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture for blood sample collection
- Label and document collected specimens accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of collection equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines during sample collection and transport
- Coordinate with laboratory teams for timely sample delivery
- Educate patients on the procedure and ensure their comfort during collection
- Maintain accurate patient records and collection logs
- Participate in quality control and assurance activities as required
Required Qualifications
- Educational: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT / BMLT)
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in phlebotomy or field sample collection
- Preference: Candidates with field collection experience will be prioritized
Mandatory Training
All selected candidates must undergo a 15-day hands-on training program in Bhubaneswar to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and quality protocols.
