Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer for a mid-level contract position at our Delhi office. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of experience, bringing strong technical expertise and analytical capabilities to our dynamic IT services and consulting team.

Qualifications and Skills

• Power bi (Mandatory skill): Demonstrated expertise in developing and deploying Power BI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations, ensuring impactful business intelligence solutions.
• DAX (Mandatory skill): Advanced proficiency in Data Analysis Expressions to develop custom calculations and optimize Power BI performance for complex data sets.
• Data Visualization (Mandatory skill): Strong capabilities in designing engaging, user-friendly, and informative data visualizations tailored to diverse stakeholder needs.
• Power BI: Hands-on experience in creating, publishing, and maintaining interactive dashboards using latest Power BI features and best practices.
• Power Query: Expertise in data transformation, cleansing, and manipulation through Power Query for accurate and actionable insights.
• Dashboard Design: Proven ability in constructing visually appealing, intuitive dashboards that align with business objectives and user requirements.
• Data Modeling: Solid understanding of data modeling concepts, relationship management, and optimization within business intelligence tools.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience working within agile project management frameworks, collaborating actively during sprints for iterative deliverable improvement.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models that support key business initiatives.
• Leverage DAX formulas and Power Query to build dynamic analytics, KPIs, and complex calculations tailored to organizational requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand data needs, capture requirements, and deliver intuitive visualizations.
• Continuously improve existing Power BI solutions by updating visuals, enhancing performance, and ensuring data quality and accuracy.
• Translate raw data from multiple sources into meaningful insights and interactive dashboards that drive business decision-making.
• Work within Agile teams, actively participating in sprint planning, reviews, and daily standups to ensure alignment and timely project delivery.
• Document data models, processes, and reporting guidelines to facilitate knowledge sharing and scalability of business solutions.
• Stay informed of new Power BI updates, industry best practices, and emerging BI trends to ensure company solutions remain innovative and effective.
