Qualifications and Skills

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee and administer comprehensive patient care in emergency, ICU, and critical care units, prioritizing rapid and accurate responses.
• Conduct immediate assessments, provide necessary acute interventions, and ensure timely escalation to specialized units as required.
• Monitor and review patient progress, interpreting diagnostic reports and modifying treatment plans when clinically indicated.
• Collaborate with consultants, specialists, nursing staff, and allied healthcare professionals to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
• Ensure meticulous documentation of all patient interactions, interventions, and treatment plans in accordance with organizational and statutory requirements.
• Participate actively in hospital rounds, case discussions, and clinical audits to enhance quality of care and patient safety.
• Supervise and provide clinical support to resident doctors, interns, and nursing staff on clinical protocols and emergency procedures.
• Maintain readiness for medical emergencies, staying updated on the latest clinical guidelines to uphold best practices in acute care.
