Job Title: Manager Processing Engineer
Reporting To: Operations Head / Plant Head
Location: Jonagiri, Andhra Pradesh
Compensation: CTC 70,00080,000 per month (Approx. 9.6 LPA)
Experience & Qualifications
- 78+ years of hands-on experience in gold or similar mineral processing plants
- Strong practical knowledge of milling, thickening, leaching, and gold recovery circuits
- Proven ability to interpret metallurgical data, conduct mass balances, and analyze plant performance trends
- Bachelors degree in Mineral Processing, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or related field
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor refinery activities including recovery performance and reagent consumption
- Track daily plant performance, including recovery rates, reagent usage, and residence time
- Identify process bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to stabilize and improve plant performance
- Optimize operating parameters to maximize gold recovery
- Conduct and review metallurgical balances, recovery calculations, and reconciliation reports
- Optimize cyanide, lime, and other reagent dosages
- Monitor carbon activity, loading efficiency, transfer rates, and losses
- Supervise elution and electrowinning operations to ensure efficient gold recovery
- Lead root cause analysis for process upsets such as poor recovery, high tailings, thickener instability, or carbon losses
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to resolve mechanical and process constraints
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance recovery and cost efficiency
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Ensure safe handling and storage of cyanide, reagents, and process chemicals
- Support development of SOPs and conduct operator training programs
