Pricing Officer

Based on the clean and sound background of the company we are prime distributors of specialty products of a few very well-known MNCs helping the growth and development of the food and dairy industry in India. In addition to the above Shree Additives also work closely and in alliance with several well-known transnational companies in the development of specialty blends for our customers. We service very well-known brands that operate in the food and dairy space within the Indian food processing industry.

In line with our ambition the company is investing in a state of art production facility at Ahmedabad and also strongly investing in the Research and Development center.

We are hiring for a Pricing Officer for our corporate office Santej, Ahmedabad Location. This role offers a strong platform to grow your career and drive the expansion of specialty ingredients in India.

About the Role

We are looking for a commercially driven Pricing Officer who will own pricing decisions, margin governance, and pricing systems across the organization.

This is not a pricing support role . The position requires someone who can challenge assumptions, make informed pricing recommendations, protect profitability, and build scalable pricing processes that support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Pricing & Commercial Ownership

• Drive end-to-end pricing decisions within defined commercial guardrails.
• Evaluate costing, market dynamics, and sales inputs to recommend optimal pricing.
• Balance profitability with business growth objectives.

Margin Governance

• Monitor pricing compliance and margin thresholds.
• Identify and address below-margin pricing and discount deviations.
• Escalate commercial risks with clear recommendations.

Pricing Systems & Process Excellence

• Develop standardized pricing frameworks and approval workflows.
• Build SKU classification and pricing governance mechanisms.
• Ensure timely and system-driven execution through defined SLAs.

Cost & Profitability Analysis

• Validate costing assumptions and assess impact of cost fluctuations.
• Conduct profitability, scenario, and sensitivity analysis.
• Support data-driven commercial decision-making.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Act as the commercial control point between Sales, Finance, Production, and Supply Chain.
• Resolve pricing and profitability challenges with a business-first mindset.

Insights & Continuous Improvement

• Identify pricing optimization and margin expansion opportunities.
• Generate actionable insights on risks, trends, and business performance.

What We're Looking For

• 3–7 years of experience in Pricing, Costing, Commercial Finance, or Business Finance.
• Qualification: CA, CMA, MBA (Finance), or M.Com.
• Strong understanding of costing, pricing strategies, profitability analysis, and commercial controls.
• Advanced Excel and ERP knowledge (SAP preferred).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ownership mindset with the ability to challenge constructively and drive decisions.
