A defense company based in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Digital Design Hardware Engineer to join its team.

Minimum Work Experience

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in the design of complex high-speed mixed-signal hardware.

Key Activities

• Design and develop complex high-speed mixed-signal hardware using FPGA, DSP, Microprocessor, Microcontroller, and Transceiver technologies.
• Architect and implement hardware solutions involving high-speed interfaces such as PCIe Gen4, SERDES, SRIO, and JESD.
• Perform PCB schematic capture and layout in collaboration with layout engineers using CAD tools such as Mentor Graphics and Altium.
• Conduct power integrity and signal integrity simulations to ensure robust and reliable hardware designs.
• Lead and execute board bring-up activities, including debugging, hardware validation, and verification.
• Utilize boundary scan (JTAG) tools for testing, debug, and manufacturing support.
• Ensure hardware designs meet compliance and regulatory standards, including thermal, EMI, and EMC requirements.
• Work independently as a self-contributing engineer, while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
