Job Description

Role Summary:


We are looking for a highly creative and execution-focused Senior Graphic Designer to lead the design and development of educational products for children. The role requires strong design expertise, project ownership, team coordination, and budget awareness to deliver high-quality products on time and within cost targets.


Key Responsibilities:


Design & Product Development

  • Design books, workbooks, kits, charts, packaging, and learning materials.
  • Create engaging layouts, illustrations, infographics, and visual concepts.
  • Ensure age-appropriate, curriculum-aligned, and market-ready designs.
  • Contribute innovative ideas for new product formats and visual approaches.

Project & Team Management

  • Manage multiple design projects from concept to final delivery.
  • Track timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and project progress.
  • Coordinate with Content, Production, Vendors, and Cross-functional teams.
  • Mentor junior designers and ensure quality execution across projects.

Quality & Production

  • Ensure error-free, production-ready deliverables.
  • Maintain high standards of typography, layout, visual hierarchy, and branding.
  • Prepare print-ready files and support production requirements.

Budget & Process Management

  • Track project budgets, freelancer costs, and resource utilization.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Maintain project trackers, documentation, file management, and version control.
  • Adhere to SOPs and ensure timely reporting.


Required Skills:

  • Expertise in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, illustration, and visual storytelling.
  • Experience in print production and pre-press processes.
  • Strong project planning, execution, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.


Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in Educational Publishing, EdTech, Children's Products, or Print Media.
  • Experience in leading or mentoring small design teams.
