You will be instrumental in contributing to this role by either crafting challenging and insightful problems in your respective research domain, devising elegant computational solutions.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nQuantitative Problem Design and Solutioning:\nDevelop and conceptualize original , research-grade or graduate-level scientific problems with scientific coding/ programming, using Python .\nRigorously define problem categories, secondary tags, and assign appropriate difficulty levels.\nRigorously solve formulated problems using sound principles, ensuring absolute accuracy, reliability, and logical coherence of the solution path.\n\nQuality Assurance & Collaboration:\nActively participate in two-tier reviews, meticulously evaluating both accuracy of problems and solutions.\nCollaborate effectively with reviewers and team leads, demonstrating a proactive approach to incorporating feedback, refining content, and enhancing overall quality promptly.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nPhD or PhD Candidates in Computational Material science (Semiconductor materials and Molecular modeling)\nHas published at least 1 peer-reviewed paper\nAdvanced proficiency in Python programming for scientific coding is preferred\nExcellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills\nStrong written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation and collaboration\n\nPerks of Freelancing With Turing:\nWork in a fully remote environment.\nOpportunity to work on cutting-edge AI projects with leading LLM companies.\nPotential for contract extension based on performance and project needs.\n\nOffer Details:\nCommitments Required : 40 hrs/week with 4 hours of PST overlap\nEngagement type : Contractor assignment/freelancer (no medical/paid leave)\nDuration of contract : 8 weeks; [expected start date is next week]
