Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for a Chartered Accountant at Prowebmatrix. The Chartered Accountant will manage end-to-end accounting, including bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, and preparation of financial statements for international clients. Daily responsibilities include reviewing client transactions, performing reconciliations, ensuring compliance with relevant tax and regulatory frameworks, and supporting international structuring and reporting. The role involves preparing management reports, cash-flow analyses, and budgets, as well as coordinating with external legal, tax, and corporate professionals to deliver integrated consulting solutions. The Chartered Accountant will also contribute to process improvements, implement best practices for financial controls, and provide clear financial insights to internal stakeholders and clients.
Qualifications
  • Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent), with strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in core accounting functions, including bookkeeping, general ledger management, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.
  • Experience with tax compliance, regulatory reporting, and understanding of international structures, cross-border transactions, or offshore entities is highly beneficial.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting and ERP software, strong Excel skills, and comfort working with digital tools and remote collaboration platforms.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and present clear, concise insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to interact confidently with international clients and cross-functional partners.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple engagements, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, consulting-driven setting.
  • Prior experience in consulting, professional services, or working with startups, digital businesses, or international clients is an advantage.
