Role Overview\nThe incumbent in this role category will be responsible for managing the client relationship and driving successful media campaigns.\n\nDepartment\nMedia Planning\n\nJob Title\nSenior Manager - Business\n\nReporting Manager Title\nDirector - Business\n\nLocation\nBangalore\n\nRoles & Responsibilities\nDevelop a macro-level understanding of the category, competitive landscape, and brand objectives to craft effective media strategies.\nTranslate client briefs into robust media plans aligned with marketing goals and business outcomes.\nInterpret brand tracking studies and correlate media investments with brand metrics and sales performance.\nContinuously build strategic thinking capabilities to deliver innovative and insight-driven solutions.\nLead planning and execution of campaigns across platforms.\nManage day-to-day implementation, optimization, and performance tracking of ongoing campaigns.\nEnsure campaigns are delivered as per plan, timelines, and agreed KPIs.\nMonitor performance metrics such as reach, frequency, GRPs, and ROI, and optimize campaigns accordingly.\nEnsure best-in-class servicing for clients through proactive communication and responsiveness.\nManage day-to-day client interactions, addressing queries and providing strategic recommendations.\nLead final media plan presentations and articulate rationale effectively to clients and internal stakeholders.\nTrack competitor activities, including innovative campaigns, award-winning work, and new media strategies.\nIdentify and recommend new opportunities, formats, and innovations in traditional media.\nIdentify high-impact campaigns and develop them for industry award submissions.\nAim to deliver at least 2–3 award-worthy entries annually for recognition of outstanding work.\nAct as a team player and collaborate effectively across planning, buying, and analytics teams.\nMentor and guide junior team members to build capability and improve performance.\n\nExperience Range\n4-6 years of experience in media planning\n\nEducation Qualifications & Skills\nMBA in Marketing\n\nSkills\nExcellent Written and Verbal communication skills\nStrong command over media tools and terminologies\nAbility to translate business goals into media strategies\nAbility to build full funnel media strategies\nAbility to manage client interactions and maintain strong working relationships\nGood analytical and problem-solving skills\n\nAbout Initiative\nInitiative unlocks business growth for the world’s most ambitious brands.
