Role Description
We are seeking a Traction Motor Engineer for a full-time, on-site role at our New Delhi location. The role involves the inspection, maintenance, and repair of traction motors, diagnosing and addressing technical issues, and performing tests to ensure optimal performance. Additional responsibilities include developing service schedules, providing technical support to teams, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering and operational teams to meet project-specific goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Technical expertise in traction motors, motor assembly, and performance testing.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including fault diagnosis and repair
- Knowledge of railway or metro management and operations is an advantage
- Proficiency in reading technical schematics and operating diagnostic equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Previous work experience in the railway or transportation industry is preferred
- Safety Training and HSE Diploma is a must.
