Role Description Manager – Commercial & Partnerships

About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and commercially astute Manager – Commercial & Partnerships to support the growth of a rapidly expanding international healthcare workforce business. The role will be responsible for managing commercial relationships, negotiating contracts, and developing strategic partnerships with Indian language training institutes, educational partners, recruitment agencies, healthcare employers, and other stakeholders in India and Germany.
This position requires a professional who combines strong business judgment with excellent negotiation and relationship management skills. The successful candidate will work closely with leadership to structure partnerships, optimize commercial arrangements, and ensure successful execution of contractual commitments.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead commercial discussions, negotiations, and contract finalization with Indian language institutes, training providers, and other strategic partners.
* Manage and strengthen relationships with German recruitment agencies, healthcare employers, educational institutions, and ecosystem partners.
* Evaluate partnership opportunities and negotiate commercial terms that align with the company’s strategic and financial objectives.
* Coordinate with legal, finance, operations, and management teams to draft, review, and execute commercial agreements.
* Monitor partner performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and agreed service standards.
* Identify opportunities to improve commercial terms, reduce risks, and enhance partnership value.
* Support the sourcing, evaluation, and onboarding of new partners across India and Germany.
* Develop business cases, commercial proposals, pricing analyses, and partnership models for management review.
* Maintain a structured repository of contracts, renewals, amendments, and partner documentation.
* Resolve commercial issues and facilitate constructive engagement between stakeholders.
* Prepare periodic reports and updates for leadership on partnership performance, commercial outcomes, and growth opportunities.
* Represent the company in meetings, industry events, and partner discussions as required.
Candidate Profile
* MBA or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
* 2–5 years of professional experience in commercial management, business development, partnerships, transaction advisory, corporate finance, procurement, consulting, or contract management roles.
* Demonstrated experience negotiating commercial agreements and managing external stakeholder relationships.
* Strong analytical, financial, and commercial evaluation skills.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to influence stakeholders and manage negotiations with confidence and professionalism.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Experience working with international partners or cross-border business environments will be highly preferred.
* Experience in healthcare, education, training, recruitment, staffing, or international mobility sectors will be an advantage.
* Willingness to travel occasionally within India and internationally, as required.
