🚀 Contract Hiring: Research Quality Specialist – Computational Math (Remote)
We are seeking highly analytical and research-driven PhD holders or PhD candidates in Computational Mathematics to join our team as a Research Quality Specialist.
This is a task-based opportunity focused on designing, solving, and reviewing advanced research-grade computational mathematics problems.
Availability Requirements
⏰ Availability of 8 hours per day with at least 4 hours of overlap with PST (Pacific Standard Time)🌎
Required Qualifications
'14; PhD or active PhD Candidate in Computational Mathematics
'14; Strong expertise in:
- Numerical Linear Algebra
- Computational Mechanics
'14; At least one peer-reviewed publication
'14; Advanced proficiency in Python for scientific computing (preferred)
'14; Excellent analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills
'14; Strong written and verbal communication skills
Key Responsibilities
Quantitative Problem Design & Solution Development
- Create original, research-grade or graduate-level computational mathematics problems.
- Develop scientifically rigorous coding and programming challenges using Python.
- Define appropriate problem categories, tags, and difficulty levels.
- Produce accurate, well-reasoned, and logically sound solutions.
Quality Assurance & Review
- Participate in a structured two-tier review process.
- Evaluate the accuracy, quality, and clarity of both problems and solutions.
- Collaborate closely with reviewers and team leads to incorporate feedback and continuously improve content quality.
