Executive - Dispatch (Last mile Delivery)

About the Role\nWe are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Executive – Last Mile Delivery / Dispatch to manage daily dispatch operations and ensure timely, accurate, and efficient delivery of products to customers. The role will focus on coordinating with warehouses, transport partners, delivery teams, and customer support to provide an exceptional delivery experience while maintaining operational efficiency.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nDispatch Operations\nPlan and execute daily dispatch schedules based on customer orders and delivery commitments.\nEnsure timely allocation of shipments to delivery partners and internal delivery teams.\nMonitor dispatch accuracy, including product quantity, SKU verification, and documentation.\nCoordinate with warehouse teams to ensure orders are picked, packed, and dispatched on time.\nLast Mile Delivery Management\nTrack deliveries from dispatch to successful customer installation/delivery.\nCoordinate with delivery executives and logistics partners to ensure adherence to delivery timelines.\nResolve delivery delays, route issues, customer escalations, and failed deliveries.\nEnsure POD (Proof of Delivery) collection and timely system updates.\nStakeholder Coordination\nCollaborate with Customer Experience, Sales, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.\nCommunicate delivery schedules and updates to customers when required.\nWork closely with third-party logistics (3PL) partners to maintain service quality standards.\nPerformance Monitoring\nTrack key metrics such as On-Time Delivery (OTD), Dispatch Accuracy, Delivery Success Rate, and Customer Satisfaction.\nPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.\nIdentify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce delivery costs.\nCompliance & Documentation\nMaintain accurate dispatch records and logistics documentation.\nEnsure compliance with company SOPs, safety standards, and transportation regulations.\nMonitor inventory movement and coordinate reconciliation for delivery discrepancies, damages, or returns.\n\nKey Requirements\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Commerce, or related field.\n\nExperience\n1–4 years of experience in logistics, dispatch operations, last-mile delivery, warehouse operations, or supply chain management.\nExperience in e-commerce, retail, furniture, mattress, consumer durable, or D2C businesses preferred.
