The role ensures seamless execution of manufacturing programs, drives operational excellence, and supports ramp-up, stabilization, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nThis position acts as a single-point integrator across cross-functional teams to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC) targets .\n\nKey Responsibilities\nDrive end-to-end operational performance across manufacturing lines to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) targets\nLead daily operations governance (tier meetings, war rooms, escalations) to ensure alignment and quick resolution of issues impacting production output, product quality, equipment uptime, and safety\nMonitor and improve key KPIs including OEE, throughput, yield/FPY, scrap, downtime, and safety metrics, ensuring data-driven decision-making\nEnsure adherence to standard operating procedures, process discipline, and regulatory compliance across all operational activities\nDrive cross-functional problem-solving using structured methodologies (e.g., RCA, 8D) to address production losses, quality issues, equipment failures, and safety risks\nIntegrate production planning with equipment readiness and workforce availability to ensure smooth line execution and ramp-up adherence\nEnsure effective execution of preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment availability and minimize unplanned downtime\nIdentify operational risks across process, equipment, and safety, and implement mitigation plans to prevent disruptions\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity enhancement, defect reduction, cost optimization, and safe operations\nEnsure safe working environment by embedding EHS practices, hazard identification, and compliance with safety standards into daily operations\nCoordinate closely with engineering, supply chain, and program teams to ensure readiness for new product introduction, ramp-up, and process changes\nTrack and ensure closure of cross-functional actions, maintaining strong focus on execution discipline, ownership, and accountability\nLead performance reviews and provide structured updates to leadership with clear insights on risks, progress, and recovery plans\n\nSkills Required\nStrong understanding of end‑to‑end manufacturing, Quality process\nProven experience managing complex, cross‑functional, manufacturing programs\nAbility to operate effectively above execution, integrating risk, timing, and decisions without owning process mechanics\nHigh credibility with engineering, manufacturing, operations, and leadership stakeholders\nStrong analytical and communication skills, particularly in executive and decision‑driven forums\nAbility to drive alignment and outcomes without direct authority\n\nQualifications & Experience\nBachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, or related discipline) or equivalent experience\n5 + years’ experience in manufacturing programs, factory launches, or large‑scale industrial projects\nPrior experience in battery, automotive, advanced manufacturing, or gigafactory environments strongly preferred\nDemonstrated success operating in greenfield, brownfield, or scale‑up manufacturing launches\n\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical Chemical, or related).\nPMP or equivalent project management certification is desirable.
