Job Description:

ob Summary

We are looking for a Device42 Administrator with 3 to 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure discovery and CMDB solutions. The candidate will be responsible for deployment configuration and maintenance of Device42 supporting asset management dependency mapping and DCIM.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and maintain Device42 platform including installation configuration and upgrades

Perform auto discovery of IT assets such as servers network devices applications and services

Manage and maintain CMDB data accuracy and integrity

Handle integration between Device42 and Jira CMDB for data compliance

Configure and manage IP Address Management including subnets VLANs and DNS integration

Develop and maintain dependency mapping for applications and services

Create and customize reports dashboards and APIs for business needs

Work with infrastructure cloud and application teams for data onboarding

Troubleshoot discovery issues performance problems and data inconsistencies

Ensure data governance compliance and periodic CMDB audits

Document configurations workflows and standard operating procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications

3 to 5 years of experience in Device42 administration or similar CMDB or DCIM tools

Strong understanding of IT infrastructure servers storage and networking

Experience in virtualization such as VMware and Hyper V

Experience with auto discovery tools and protocols like SNMP WMI SSH and APIs

Knowledge of IPAM DNS and DHCP concepts

Experience working with REST APIs and integrations

Understanding of ITIL processes including incident change and asset management

Knowledge of ITSM tools such as Jira and ServiceNow

Basic scripting skills in Python PowerShell or Bash

Familiarity with databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL is an added advantage

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
