About The Job:
Essential Job Functions:
- Act as a Customer Advocate, providing support to users and administrators of the platform.
- Support and contribute to the growth of best practices for delivering support services.
- Develop an understanding of the platform, cloud technologies, and troubleshooting practices to successfully resolve complex technical issues.
- Take ownership of customer issues and resolve them with a high level of professionalism.
- Perform triage, troubleshooting, resolution, and root cause analysis for ServiceNow product issues.
- Manage customer expectations and deliver a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain technical expertise in assigned product areas and effectively leverage that expertise to assist customers.
- Identify, suggest, and implement improvements to internal processes and tools.
- Participate in both technical and non-technical projects.
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams through cases, phone calls, and other electronic communication methods.
- Create and maintain knowledge base articles to improve operational efficiency and empower customers.
- Maintain excellent case hygiene and accurate customer-related records and documentation.
- Participate in weekend support on-call rotations as required
Required Skills
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL and Oracle.
- Experience working with Linux/Unix or Microsoft Server environments.
- Basic understanding of web application stack components.

Experience with one or more scripting languages:
- JavaScript
- Python
- Perl
- Unix Shell
- Windows Shell
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical solutions.
- Strong commitment to quality, customer service, and customer satisfaction.
Desired Skills
- Experience providing SaaS or PaaS support.
- Experience working with the ServiceNow Platform.
- Fundamental understanding of the ITIL framework.
- Experience using monitoring and log analysis tools such as Splunk.
- Ability to read, analyze, and understand database logs.
