Experience: 5+ years in DB with significant focus on AWS-managed services
Security & Compliance: Enforce security via IAM roles, VPC security groups, and encryption (at rest/in transit). Manage user access and credential rotation using AWS Secrets Manager.
Graph Data Engineering: Optimize Neptune queries using Gremlin, openCypher, or SPARQL. Handle Neptune bulk loaders and graph notebooks for data visualization.
Automation: Develop Python or Shell scripts to automate routine maintenance, patching, and data loading tasks.
Migration: Lead schema conversions and data migrations from on-premises or other RDS instances to Aurora using tools like AWS DMS.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Core Technical Skills:
o Engines: Deep knowledge of Aurora PostgreSQL/MySQL and Amazon Neptune.
o Languages: Proficiency in SQL, Python, and graph query languages (Gremlin/openCypher).
o Tools: Hands-on experience with Terraform/CloudFormation (IaC), AWS CLI, and monitoring tools like pgAdmin or MySQL Workbench.
o Certifications (Preferred): AWS Certified Database - Specialty or AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate.
