Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

About the Role

Develop maintainable test automation frameworks, tools, and automated test suites in response to the growing feature set and customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop test cases for the functional testing of new features and enhancements.
• Validate the Network protocol (L2/L3) implementation and validate the test steps.
• Testing the protocol configurations such as OSPF, BGP, DHCP and DNS and certifying that the protocol is behaving in line with the requirement.
• Work closely with software engineers, test engineers, and product managers from the beginning of the development cycle and be an integral part of the Agile Engineering team.
• Work in a fast-paced continuous integration and continuous delivery-based engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of overall experience.

Required Skills

• Experience in Agile/Scrum or full software development life cycle, including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and defect fixing.
• Strong Experience in automation using Python, Shell, Rest API.
• Strong experience in testing Networking Protocols - TCP/IP, HSRP, VRRP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs and EVPN.
• Strong experience in MPLS, DNS, DHCP.
• Knowledge of Linux environments and LAN & WAN.
• Work experience with Jira, GitHub, and Jenkins.
• Very good experience in Linux and Linux systems.
