Qualification :
- Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA Inter) / CMA Inter / MBA (Finance)
- Strong academic background with sound understanding of accounting
- principles, taxation, and statutory compliance.
Experience :
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Experience in a startup, service industry, or multi-entity environment will be preferred.
- Working knowledge of Tally or similar ERP/accounting software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, reconciliations, etc.).
Key Roles & Responsibilities :
- Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain end-to-end books of accounts and ensure accurate recording of
- financial transactions.
- Pass journal entries, accruals, provisions, depreciation, prepaid expenses,
- and month-end accounting entries.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual book closure activities.
- Prepare schedules and reconciliations for Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss
- accounts.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and
- internal controls.
2. Accounts Payable (AP) Management
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely accounting of expenses.
- Verify supporting documents, approvals, and contractual terms before
- processing payments.
- Maintain vendor master records and documentation.
3. Accounts Receivable (AR) & Revenue Support
- Raise customer invoices accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Perform customer ledger reconciliations and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Support revenue accounting and customer-related financial transactions.
4. Statutory Compliance Support
- Act as the primary finance coordinator for statutory compliance activities.
- Prepare data and working papers for:
- TDS Compliance
- GST Compliance
- EPF Compliance
- ESI Compliance
- Professional Tax (PT)
- Labour Law and other applicable statutory compliances
- Maintain proper documentation and compliance records for audits and assessments.
5. Audit & Financial Reporting Support
- Assist in Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, Internal Audit, and Due Diligence
- exercises.
- Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents.
- Support preparation of financial statements and management reports.
6. Bank & Ledger Reconciliations
- Perform periodic bank reconciliations and investigate unreconciled items.
- Reconcile customer, vendor, employee, and statutory ledgers.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records.
7. Operational Finance Support
- Manage day-to-day finance operations and transaction processing.
- Support payroll-related accounting entries and reconciliations.
- Handle employee reimbursement accounting and verification.
