As a member of our Casualty Data & Underwriting function, you’ll work with U.S. underwriters to evaluate complex liability portfolios, perform exposure and clash analysis, and support data-driven decision-making across the insurance value chain.
We invite Underwriting Analysts, Specialists, and Managers with 2–12 years of experience to apply in casualty or liability underwriting to apply.\n\n(Responsibilities expand with experience and seniority)\n\nUnderwriting Support & Data Processing\nReview new business and renewal submissions for accuracy and completeness.\nCapture and validate exposure data within underwriting and pricing systems.\nAnalyze key risk attributes — class, operations, jurisdiction, loss history, and contracts.\nAssist in exposure capture, Insurance-to-Value (ITV) validation, and loss data analysis.\nPrepare underwriting files, quotes, binders, and policy issuance instructions.\n\nTechnical & Analytical Excellence\nConduct clash and accumulation analysis across casualty, umbrella, and specialty lines.\nEvaluate loss pick assumptions, attachment structures, and technical pricing adequacy.\nApply exposure modeling tools and contribute to pricing calibration across portfolios.\nMonitor underwriting metrics (premium adequacy, hit ratios, declinations, loss ratios).\n\nPortfolio & Strategic Management (for senior professionals)\nPerform portfolio-level analysis across primary and excess casualty layers.\nDevelop and maintain dashboards and MI reports for performance tracking.\nReport accumulation and cross-line clash (e.g., professional, cyber, environmental).\nEnsure policy wordings align with underwriting intent and regulatory standards.\n\nLeadership & Collaboration\nMentor and guide junior underwriters on technical underwriting practices.\nPartner with brokers and U.S. underwriters for seamless submissions and issue resolution.\nSupport automation and process excellence initiatives that enhance global underwriting efficiency.\n\nRequirements: Skills & Competencies\n(Depth and leadership expectations vary by experience level)\nCore Expertise:\n2–12 years of experience in casualty underwriting, pricing, or reinsurance.\nUnderstanding of General Liability, Auto Liability, Umbrella, and Excess lines.\nFamiliarity with exposure modeling, accumulation tools, and casualty pricing systems.\n\nAnalytical & Technical Skills:\nStrong Excel and data analysis capability.\nWorking knowledge of clash modeling and exposure capture methodologies.\nFor senior levels — ability to shape pricing, portfolio management, and aggregation frameworks.\n\nProfessional Attributes:\nDetail-oriented with strong communication and problem-solving skills.\nCollaborative mindset with ability to coordinate global underwriting workflows.\nContinuous learner with curiosity for liability risk dynamics and innovation in underwriting.\n\nWhy You’ll Love Working Here - What’s In It For You\nBe part of a global casualty underwriting hub supporting U.S. and international portfolios.\nGain hands-on exposure to liability pricing, clash modeling, and portfolio management.\nWork alongside senior underwriters and learn global best practices.\nContribute to the digital transformation of underwriting through innovation and automation.\nBuild your career path from analyst to leader within an innovation-first culture.\n\nApply at and become part of our journey to redefine underwriting through intelligence and innovation.
