Financial Analyst

The role is with a US-based software company looking to hire financial modelling professionals in India The location for the role is anywhere in India as it is a remote role.\n\nJob description -\n\nDevelop, maintain, and optimize full financial models (integrated IS/BS/CF) across areas such as corporate finance, private equity/LBO, investment banking, valuation, risk, credit, and quantitative finance modelling\n.Build and validate advanced modelling components, including revenue builds, detailed growth drivers, scenario and sensitivity analysis, and capital structure and cost of capital\n.Review, stress-test, and improve complex financial models and exercises created by internal teams and other experts\n.Design and solve real-world financial problem sets for the platform, ensuring technical depth, accuracy, internal consistency, and clear pedagogical value for users\n.Collaborate with other finance experts and developers to ensure model integrity, documentation and scalability\n.Provide ongoing operational support on financial content, including QA, debugging, and continuous refinement of models\n\n.\nQualifications -\n\n3-7 years of hands-on experience in roles such as: investment banking, private equity/venture capital, risk, debt capital markets, corporate finance, highly technical FP&A/ strategic finance, transaction services/valuation/financial advisory, asset based securities, asset based lending, quantitative finance.\nProven track record building complete, integrated financial models from scratch, including full three-statement models, WACC and valuation work (DCF, comparable analysis), and complex drivers and scenario analy\nAdvanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and dynamic modelling, multi-tab, linked mod\nStrong discipline around structure, checks, and documentat\nDeep understanding of corporate finance, valuation, accounting principles, and how they flow through IS/BS\nHigh attention to detail and a very high-quality bar for your own w\nAbility to work independently, own projects end-to-end, and manage your time effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment.\nStrong English communication skills
