Hardware Design Engineer
Job Description
You will be responsible for designing, developing, debugging, and validating embedded hardware platforms, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams on impactful deep-tech products. If you enjoy designing circuits, creating PCBs, solving hardware challenges, and bringing products to life, we'd love to hear from you.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nHardware Design & Development Design analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronic circuits.\nDevelop schematics and production-ready PCB layouts.\nSelect components based on technical and application requirements.\nDesign communication, sensor interface, and power management circuits.\n\nPCB Design & Prototyping Create multi-layer PCB designs using industry-standard tools.\nGenerate BOMs, manufacturing files, and assembly documentation.\nSupport prototype development and vendor coordination.\n\nTesting & Debugging Perform hardware bring-up, validation, and troubleshooting.\nConduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.\nUse oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and other lab equipment for debugging.\n\nCollaboration & R&D Work closely with firmware, mechanical, and product teams.\nContribute to new product development across medical, aerospace, defence, and industrial domains.\nExplore emerging technologies and hardware design methodologies.\n\nQualifications\nRequired B.Tech / M.Tech / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Embedded Systems, or related fields.\n1–5 years of hands-on hardware design experience.\nStrong knowledge of analog and digital electronics.\nExperience with schematic design, PCB layout, and hardware debugging.\nUnderstanding of UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, and related communication protocols.\nAbility to independently interpret datasheets and design working circuits.\n\nPreferred Experience in Medical Devices, Aerospace, Defence, Industrial Electronics, or IoT products.\nExposure to low-power embedded systems.\nUnderstanding of EMI/EMC design practices.\nHands-on soldering and PCB rework experience.\n\nWhat We Look For Engineers who can convert requirements into working hardware.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nOwnership mindset with attention to detail.\nPassion for hands-on engineering and product development.\nCuriosity, initiative, and a drive to learn.\n\nWhy Join Morphedo?
