About the Role\n\nDignifyd is looking for a skilled WordPress Developer & Designer who can own the end-to-end design, development, and ongoing upkeep of websites. The ideal candidate blends strong visual design sensibility with hands-on WordPress development, delivering sites that are fast, responsive, and maintained to a high standard.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n• Design, build, and customize WordPress websites from concept to launch\n• Develop and maintain themes, templates, and plugins to spec\n• Ensure responsive, cross-browser, and mobile-optimized layouts\n• Handle ongoing site maintenance: updates, backups, security patches, and performance optimization\n• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, downtime, and technical issues promptly\n• Implement on-page SEO best practices and optimize page load speeds\n• Collaborate with internal teams on design direction and content structure\n\nRequirements\n\n• Proven experience in WordPress development and web design (WordPress proficiency is a must)\n• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP\n• Strong command of page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, or similar) and design tools (Figma, Adobe XD/Photoshop)\n• Understanding of responsive design, UX principles, and site performance\n• Experience with website maintenance, hosting, and domain management\n• Eye for clean, modern, brand-aligned design\n• Ability to manage multiple sites and meet deadlines independently\n\nGood to Have\n\n• Experience with Shopify (strongly preferred)\n• Experience with WooCommerce and custom theme development\n• Familiarity with SEO and analytics tools\n\nHow to Apply\nShare your resume along with your portfolio at and live work links.
