Purchase Executive - Generics & Surgicals

• Handle procurement and purchasing of branded generics, surgical products, and healthcare supplies .
• Develop and maintain relationships with pharmaceutical distributors, stockists, manufacturers, and vendors .
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and procurement contracts to ensure cost efficiency.
• Compare quotations, evaluate suppliers, and ensure competitive sourcing.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with sales and warehouse teams to maintain stock availability.
• Raise purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of products.
• Track shortages, backorders, and urgent requirements.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, documentation, and invoicing processes.
• Maintain accurate purchase records, reports, and vendor databases.
• Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and product availability in branded generics and surgicals.

• 2–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical purchasing, specifically in branded generics and surgical products .
• Strong vendor network and understanding of the pharma distribution ecosystem .
• Good negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, stock management, and pricing.
• Proficiency in Excel/ERP systems is preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication and coordination skills.
