Job Title: Banquet Operations Manager

Location: Chembur

Shift: Day Shift (Event-Based Timings – 9 Hours)

Week Off: Any 1 Day (Rotational)

Salary: ₹45,000 – ₹50,000 per month


Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Banquet Operations Manager to oversee and manage end-to-end banquet and event operations. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless execution of events while delivering exceptional guest experience and maintaining operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute banquet events including weddings, corporate events, conferences, and social gatherings
  • Understand client requirements and ensure all expectations are met or exceeded
  • Manage banquet staff (servers, stewards, setup teams) and ensure high service standards
  • Prepare event timelines, layouts, and floor plans for smooth execution
  • Coordinate with kitchen and service teams for timely delivery and quality service
  • Supervise event setup and breakdown as per client specifications and company standards
  • Monitor inventory of banquet supplies, equipment, and linens; coordinate for replenishment
  • Ensure adherence to hygiene, safety, and food handling standards
  • Handle on-ground issues during events efficiently and professionally
  • Implement best practices to enhance guest experience and drive repeat business

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in banquet/event management (Hotel, Resort, or Banquet setup preferred)
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and client-handling abilities
  • Good organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Knowledge of banquet operations (setup, service, breakdown)
  • Understanding of health & safety and food hygiene standards
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management or relevant field
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules
