Assistant Professor of English

The Department of English and Foreign Languages , SRMIST, invites applications from motivated, research-active academics to join as Assistant Professor (English). The incumbent will be responsible for teaching English language and communication courses to undergraduate engineering students, contributing to high-quality research output, and participating in departmental and institutional academic initiatives.\nTeach English language, communication, and literature courses to B.Tech students across disciplines\nDesign and deliver outcome-based curriculum aligned with programme objectives\nPublish research in Scopus / Web of Science indexed journals Mentor students in academic writing, presentations, and competitive examinations\nParticipate in departmental activities including syllabus revision, BoS meetings, and accreditation processes\nContribute to funded research projects, consultancy, and international collaborations\nEngage with industry partners for communication training and placement support
