Exide is also deeply invested in further developing li-ion technology with significant R&D investments including setup of in-house team as well as necessary lab infrastructure to support development activities.\n\nOverview:\nConfiguration and installation of various network devices (e.g. Routers, Switches, Firewalls, VPN, Plant Servers for OT and IT Network)\nPerform network maintenance and system maintenance/upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configuration.\nMonitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.\nProvide Level 2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.\nVendor Management\n\nRole & Responsibilities:\nResponsible to lead areas including Campus Network, Manufacturing Network (OT), Firewall, Network Security and Cloud Network\nCCNA or CCNP certified.\nDeep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)\nHands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools\nProven experience and success with LAN, WAN, and WLAN design and implementation.\nProven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices.\nExpert knowledge of core routing and switching design principles, best practices, and related technologies.\nExperience in implementing and managing voice over IP (VoIP) systems desired.\nWorking technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards, including routers, switches (layer 2/3), firewalls, remote access, DNS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLAN, QoS, DSL, Frame Relay, and Metro Ethernet.\n\nKey Internal Interfaces:\nPlants: For all IT Plant Machinery requirements and vendor development\nInternal Stakeholders from Process, R&D, SC, Quality, Equipment, Sales & Mktg & other functions\n\nEducation:\nBE IT/CS, BSc Comp Sci/ IT or equivalent degree\n\nExperience :\n8+Yrs of experience in the managing and installation of Network Devices, Firewalls\n\nDesired Skills :\nFunctional: Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.\nAble to conduct research into networking issues and products as required.\nAbility to present ideas in user-friendly language.\nAble to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.\nStrong customer service orientation\nExperience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.\nBehavioral:\nExcellent interpersonal communication, logical analysis, negotiation, and decision-making\nStrong planning and organizing skills, problem solving skills, stress management and time management.
