Contract Manager
Job Description
Key responsibilities
- Contract Management
Draft, review, negotiate, and administer EPC contracts, subcontract agreements, and vendor contracts. Ensure compliance with FIDIC contract conditions and project-specific contractual obligations. Manage contract risk assessment, claims, variations, extensions of time, and dispute resolution. Interpret contract clauses and provide contractual guidance to project teams.
Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to contractual terms.
- Procurement Management
Develop and implement procurement strategies for high-rise building construction projects.
Manage end-to-end procurement processes including tendering, bid evaluation, vendor selection, and purchase order issuance.
Source and negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers to achieve cost-effective solutions.
Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontract packages.
Maintain approved vendor database and evaluate supplier performance.
- Commercial & Cost Control
Prepare cost comparisons, commercial evaluations, and procurement reports.
Monitor procurement budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Coordinate with finance and project teams for payment certifications and invoice verification.
- Claims & Compliance
Handle contractual claims, notices, and correspondence as per FIDIC provisions.
Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
Support project audits and documentation reviews.
Coordination & Stakeholder Management
Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams.
Support project planning and execution through proactive contract and procurement management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
-15-20 years of progressive professional experience
- Strong hands-on experience with EPC
