Job Description
About the Role
The ASRP Author is responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining aircraft structural repair publications using the XML authoring platform in compliance with S1000D standards and OEM requirements. The role requires strong domain knowledge in aircraft structures, materials, and repair practices, with high accuracy and client visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Author, revise, and validate Structural Repair Publications using the XML authoring tool
- Interpret and incorporate:
- Engineering drawings and stress analysis data
- Repair schemes
- Develop and update content in accordance with Airbus standards, and S1000D (where applicable)
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance of data modules / repair instructions
- Perform self-checks and peer reviews to meet quality requirements
- Interface with:
- Stress, Design, and Engineering teams
- Quality and Configuration Management teams
- Customer technical focal points
- Support audits, customer reviews, and change impact assessments
- Manage revisions, effectivity, and traceability within the ASRP/CSDB environment
