Project Manager(BIM)

Full Time

Location: Nagpur (Onsite Only)


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering with 8 to 15 years of experience in BIM/MEP Space.
  • Extensive experience in managing and executing multiple BIM projects as a Project Manager.
  • Proven experience to handle Global projects specifically USA projects ranging Commercial, Residential, Industrial and mixed large scale projects.
  • Expertise in Revit and strong knowledge of BIM software and tools – Navisworks, BIM 360
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Leadership abilities to guide and motivate the project team.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in BIM.
  • Estimating reliable man hours of BIM Modelling tasks.
  • Experience in MEP projects is highly desirable.



Responsibilities:


1. Project Planning: Develop and implement BIM execution plans for projects, outlining the BIM requirements, milestones, and deliverables. Collaborate with project stakeholders to define project goals and ensure alignment with BIM objectives. Establish standards and protocols for BIM processes and workflows.


2. Team Collaboration: Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other project team members to integrate BIM into the project workflow. Facilitate collaboration and communication among project team members to ensure seamless information exchange using BIM.


3. Model Management: Oversee the creation, organization, and maintenance of BIM models throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of BIM models and resolve any conflicts or inconsistencies in collaboration with the project team.


4. Technology Implementation: Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and tools and assess their applicability to the project. Implement and manage BIM software and technology platforms to optimize project efficiency.


5. Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks on BIM models and project documentation to ensure compliance with established standards and guidelines. Address any issues related to model quality, accuracy, and information consistency.


6. Coordination Meetings: Organize and lead regular coordination meetings to review BIM models, discuss project progress, and address any coordination challenges. Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve conflicts and ensure alignment with project goals.


7. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain project documentation related to BIM processes, standards, and workflows. Provide regular reports to project leadership on the status of BIM implementation and any issues that may impact project delivery.


8. Client Communication: Interact with clients, presenting BIM deliverables, discussing technical aspects, and addressing any queries or concerns they may have
