JOB DESCRIPTION – ALGO TRADING STRATEGIST\n\nRole Overview\nWe are looking for a highly analytical and performance-driven Algo Trading Strategist responsible for developing, optimizing, and executing algorithmic trading strategies. The ideal candidate should possess strong market knowledge, quantitative analytical skills, and expertise in strategy development and execution.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and implement new algorithmic trading strategies.\nHandle complete strategy lifecycle including ideation, backtesting, optimization, and execution.\nMonitor existing strategies regularly and identify improvement opportunities.\nAnalyze market activity, trends, and trading behavior.\nDesign and improve low-slippage execution algorithms for intraday trading.\nResearch trading ideas from external platforms, seminars, and social media channels.\nPrepare analytical reports and presentations for management review.\nMaintain proper documentation for trading strategies and models.\nRequired Skills & Competencies\nStrong understanding of Equity, Derivatives, and Algorithmic Trading.\nExperience in strategy backtesting and optimization.\nKnowledge of automated trading platforms and APIs.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced market environment.\nExcellent communication and presentation skills.\n\nAnand Rathi Share & Stock Brokers Ltd.
