Job Summary
The Admissions Officer is responsible for managing the student admissions process from initial inquiry through enrollment. The role requires exceptional customer service, strong communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with prospective families while ensuring a seamless admissions experience. The Admissions Officer serves as an ambassador of the school, promoting its values, programs, and community to prospective parents and students.
Key Responsibilities
Admissions & Enrollment
- Manage the complete admissions cycle, including inquiries, applications, assessments, interviews, and enrollment procedures.
- Respond promptly to admission inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
- Conduct campus tours and provide detailed information about the school's curriculum, facilities, and admission requirements.
- Guide prospective families through the application process and ensure timely submission of required documents.
- Coordinate admission assessments, interviews, and meetings with academic staff and school leadership.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records in the admissions database.
Parent & Student Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and current families.
- Address queries related to admissions policies, fee structures, curriculum, and school programs.
- Ensure a high standard of customer service and parent satisfaction throughout the admissions process.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Prepare admission reports, enrollment statistics, and data analysis for management review.
- Maintain confidentiality of student and family information.
- Support the preparation and issuance of admission offers, acceptance letters, and enrollment documentation.
- Assist in forecasting enrollment numbers and admissions trends.
Marketing & Outreach Support
- Support school marketing initiatives aimed at increasing student enrollment.
- Represent the school at education fairs, open houses, and promotional events.
- Coordinate admission-related events, orientation programs, and information sessions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance admissions campaigns and lead generation activities.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with school admission policies and regulatory requirements.
- Verify student documentation and maintain complete admission files.
- Assist in preparing documentation required for audits and inspections.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Education, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Master's Degree preferred.
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in admissions, student recruitment, customer relations, or educational administration.
- Experience in an international school environment will be an added advantage.
