Interior Designer

Job Title: Interior Designer (2 –5 Years Experience)\nLocation: Mumbai (Western Suburbs)\nCompany: SDC\nEmployment Type: Full-time, On-site\nAbout the Role:\nSDC is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Interior Designers with 2 to 5 years of professional experience to join our Mumbai-based design studio. The role involves working closely with the design team on concept development, design detailing, and project execution across various interior design projects. Candidates with exposure to retail design will be preferred.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop design concepts, spatial layouts, and schematic sketches based on project requirements\nConvert conceptual sketches into detailed drawings and presentation-ready design documentation\nPrepare material boards, finishes palettes, and mood boards aligned with the design intent\nProduce detailed drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details, suitable for execution\nCoordinate and follow up with consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure design accuracy and timely execution\nAssist in material selection, specifications, and approvals\nEnsure designs comply with client requirements, project briefs, and timelines\nSupport the team during site visits, coordination meetings, and execution stages as required\nRequired Skills & Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field\n2–5 years of relevant professional experience in interior design\nProficiency in design development, technical drawings, and detailing\nStrong visualization and sketching skills\nExperience in preparing material mood boards and design presentations\nGood coordination and communication skills for working with consultants, contractors, and vendors\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines\nWorking knowledge of industry-standard design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, etc.) is preferred\nPreferred Experience:\nPrior experience in retail interior design projects\nExposure to end-to-end project execution\nAdditional Information:\nThis is an on-site role based in Western Mumbai\nCandidates should carefully consider daily commute and travel feasibility before applying
