Interior Designer

At INI Design Studio, we prioritize sustainability, excellence, and collaboration.\n\nRole Description\nThis is a full-time role for an Interior Designer for the Gujarat region. The candidate will be responsible for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces that meet the needs and preferences of clients. This role involves conceptualizing design plans, selecting materials and furnishings, and overseeing the implementation of design projects from inception to completion.

They will interact with technical team to understand their requirements, manage project timelines, and collaborate with other professionals within the organization to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.\n\nQualifications\nMaster’s or bachelor’s degree in interior design or a related field, with a minimum 3 to 10 years of industry experience\n\nResponsibilities\nDesign, detailing and preparation of production drawings during design development phase.\nDesign and Tender documents.\nDevelops solutions to technical and design problems following established standards.\nIncorporates Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects.\nPrepares 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings.\nCompiles data and performs elementary design computations.\nTakes personal responsibility for fostering a green workplace through sustainable work practices.\nFosters a commitment to external and internal client service.\nAssist in building & maintaining material library\n\nSkills\nPossess basic hand and computer-aided design drafting skills.\nPossess space planning skills and an interest in programming.\nBasic knowledge of design, trends, construction methodology, materials application and manufacturer-supplier appropriateness.\nBasic knowledge of furniture, fixture and equipment (FF&E), architectural/interior finishes, lighting, art signage, color and materials to carryout design intent.\nBasic knowledge of building regulations and safety codes.\nBasic knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in design industry\nKnowledge of sustainability, integrated design and IGBC/LEED/GRIHA guidelines.\nKnowledge of buildingSMART, Building Information Modeling (BIM).\nProven ability to prioritize in order to meet deadlines and provide high quality service to clients.\nAbility to effectively meet deadlines.\nAbility to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.\nAbility to work in team environment.\nProficiency in the basic technical skills of interior design including the following computer skills:\nProficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.\nProficiency in AutoCAD/Architectural Desktop.\nProficiency in Revit is preferred.\nKnowledge of 3D Modeling software such as sketch up, 3D Studio Max and Viz.\nKnowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup, and InDesign graphic software.
